11. Gasherbrum -I | Karakoram | Pakistan / China | 8058 | It is surveyed as K5 and is also called as “Hidden Peak”. It is claimed to mean “Shining Wall” |
12. Broad Peak | Karakoram | Pakistan / China | 8047 | It’s summit is over 1.5km long so it has been named as “Broad Peak”. |
13. Gasherbrum – II | Karakoram | Pakistan / China | 8035 | It is the 3rd Highest of Gasherbrum Group. 1st being Gasherburm -1 then Broad Peak. |
14. Shishma Panga | Himalayas | Tibet | 8013 | Also known as Gosainthan. It was the last 8000m peaks to be climbed due to it’s location being in Tibet and foreigners were restricted by the authorities. The name means Grassy Plain or Meadow. |
15. Gyachung Kang | Himalayas | Nepal / China | 7952 | It is the 1st peak to start from 7000m. |
