INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF INDIA AS RECOGNIZED BY UNESCO

Ministry of Culture has launched the National list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of India.
National ICH list is a part of the initiative of Vision 2024 of Ministry of Culture.
This is done to show the diversity of cultures and how to keep them safe by raising general awareness.
There are namely 13 ICH as recognized by UNESCO:-

3. Kutiyattam, Sanskrit theatre 2008

4. Rammam, Festival and ritual theatre of Garhwal,Himalayas 2009

5. Mudiyettu, ritual theatre and dance drama, Kerala 2010

6. Kalbelia, Folk dance and song of Rajasthan 2010

7. Chhau Dance 2010

8. Buddhist chanting of Ladakh 2012

9. Sankirtana, ritual singing, drumming and dancing of Manipur 2013

10. Traditional brass and copper Utensils of Jandiala Guru, Punjab 2014

11. Yoga 2016

12. Nawrouz, Italian new year celebration in India 2016

13. Kumbh Mela 2017
