UPSC CDS (II) 2023 Application Forms have been filled already. The exam will be conducted in September 2023. All the aspiring candidates were allowed to apply beforehand. The form was available on the UPSC website in the said month. This examination is conducted to recruit officers in the Army, Navy, Airforce. It is primarily organized by UPSC for the recruitment of officers. Conducted twice in a year, the exam becomes the first step towards moving into the armed forces as an officer. 

While the world is motivated by money, some of us are moved by the pride and the stars on the shoulders. The process of selection is very rigorous and takes around 9 months to complete. The students who qualify the written examination will be further called for the SSB interview. The selection process is a two stages process i.e., Written test and the SSB Interview. The SSB Interview consists of three aspects of tests i.e. Psychological tests, ground testing, and personal interview. Both of these tests are determined to test the mental as well as the physical strength of the candidate.

CDSE 2023 Vacancy Details :

Every year a significant number of candidates appeared in the CDS exam, but there are only limited vacancies. These vacancies are reserved for the students who will qualify all the stages involved in the selection process. Though the number of vacancies is for CDS (II) 2023 has been mentioned below, all of these vacancies are distributed in different departments like IMA, INA, IAA, OTA. UPSC CDS II 2023 Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates should check the eligibility first to apply for the recruitment process. There are concerns over if air force is going to become B.Tech only. While there are many issues involved, there is no clarity on the same. We have to wait for some time to confirm the news from the coming notification. 

Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

UPSC CDS Application Form 2023 :

Once, the CDS Application Form 2023 has been released, the online registration have been closed. All the eligible candidates are searching for the Procedure to apply for the CDS II 2023 Exam. The UPSC has updated CDS notification, which is given below. Candidates are advised to apply to fill the CDS 2023 Application form before the last date. Otherwise, their application form will be rejected. To apply for the examination, you need to visit the official website on the link, and then the application form will be displayed on the screen. Fill the form carefully, avoid errors while filling the form else your form will be exempted. Fill in all the details carefully and read them thoroughly before submitting to prevent mistakes. After filling in the form click on the submit button. A scanned copy of your photograph and signature will be required while filling the form.

How to Apply for the CDS II Exam 2023?

1.  Visit the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsc.gov.in.

2.  You have to do the UPSC OTR.

3. Subsequently fill the form. You will get an update on your e-mail account.

CDS 2023 Application Fee :

The CDS II Application Fee is Rs. 200 for all candidates except female, SC, and ST candidates because they are exempted from application fee. Candidates can pay application fee by depositing the money in any SBI Branch by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, SBBJ (State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur)/ SBH (State Bank of Hyderabad)/ SBM (State Bank of Mysore)/ SBP (State Bank of Patiala) /State Bank of Travancore or by using Credit OR Debit Card.

UPSC CDS 2023 Exam Pattern :

To start the preparation for CDS II 2023 Exam, you should be aware of the examination pattern. The marking scheme and the distribution of subjects play a major role in development. (i) Pay

Stipend to the cadets:

Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service Academies i.e. during the training period at IMA and OTA.Rs 56,100/-p.m.* (Starting pay in Level 10)

* On successful commissioning, the pay in the pay matrix of the Officer commissioned shall be fixed in the first Cell of Level 10 and the period of training shall not be treated as commissioned service and arrears on account of admissible allowances, as applicable, for the training period shall be paid to cadets.

UPSC CDS Cut Off 2023 :

Cut-off Marks are the minimum marks required to qualify one examination. UPSC CDS Cut-Off Marks 2023 will be released soon after the publication of the final result. And every department will be assigned a cut-off. These cut-off marks will be based on two factors: the difficulty level of the paper, the number of vacancies, Number of Students Appeared in the examination.

UPSC CDS Result 2023 :

After the completion of the Pre-written examination, UPSC CDS II Result 2023 will be released in September itself. The students who’ll qualify the written examination will be called for the Stage II or SSB round. The UPSC CDS (II) Result 2023 will be announced online and you can check by finding your roll number and name. SSB will be held at one of the testing centers in the country.
